Project Description

As part of a consulting project for a cargo airline, we supported a consulting firm and its client in carrying out network optimisations using the optimiser CPLEX. VIA Software’s task was on the one hand to implement a so-called Connection Builder, which calculates all relevant transport alternatives, and on the other hand to create an interface to the optimiser, which was used to analyse and evaluate the given flight schedules of the cargo airline.

The employees of VIA Software have extensive experience from a wide range of projects in the field of creating, visualising and evaluating flight schedules for passenger and cargo airlines, whether in terms of their profitability or also their robustness in the face of disruptions.
