Simulation Tool to Evaluate the Operational Stability of Flight Schedules

VIA Software has developed OTPmax, a software module used to assess the operational stability of flight schedules in an ultra-quick fashion—based on historical flight and turnaround times. OTPmax provides key figures on operational stability for a rotationally linked flight plan or a section of said plan. This identifies critical rotations and allows for modifications in advance. OTPmax simulations can thus help minimise actual delays.

VIA Software employees have extensive experience across a wide range of projects related to creating, visualising and evaluating flight schedules for passenger and cargo airlines: whether with respect to their profitability or resilience in the face of disruptions. Based on this experience, we enjoy providing airlines and airports with comprehensive advice on topics related to flight plan creation and evaluating/analysing commercial flight plans—contributing to the creation of innovative planning systems.
