Requirements Specification for an Airline Ground Service Personnel Scheduling System
Airline ground services summon many different tasks despite great progress in the area of passenger self-service in recent years (e.g., even with the presence of check-in machines, airline employees are needed for services like ticket sales, boarding, attending to passengers and apron activities). Over a period of several years, VIA Software supported one airline’s extensive re-design project, which included designing and implementing a new staff scheduling system.
VIA Software tasks included collecting, structuring and documenting all software development requirements, supporting provider selection and, finally, assisting with implementation.
